does the sharp aquos 42 in hd lcd tv have digital television capabilities for the DTV switch in 2009?

i heard about the DTV switch in 2009 and i wanted to know if i’m covered for the switch…..

    To be sure, you need to give the model no. But if it is a recent purchase, it certainly does. If it has “built-in HD tuner” it is ready.

    Short Answer yes. Every tv sharp makes has a digital tuner built into it. This switch only affects those using over the air antenna. If you have cable or satillite any tv that you can hook up to it will be covered for the switch.     Ok heres the deal with the switch. It dosnt matter what tv you have. Even if your tv is from 1980 as long as you have it hooked up to a cable box or sat reciever your fine. The cable box is a digital tuner.

    If it has an ATSC tuner, yes. My sharp aquos LC32D62u does.
